Description
Christmas cake is a fruitcake that is tradtionally served throughout the festive season. This richly filled homemade mini loaf is packed with with currents, raisins, sultanas, citrus peel, candied cherries and brandy. It has been made lovingly over a two day period and then slow baked for four hours. Afterwards it has matured for a minimum of six weeks and has been fed weekly with cognac (French brandy). Finally, it is fully finished with marzipan and fondant icing.
Delicious taken on a long cold winter walk or enjoyed with loved ones around the kitchen table throughout the festive season. A small slice is advised, the cake is very filling!
12x7cm mini loaf (4-6 portions).
Allergens: Milk, Wheat, Egg, Nuts, Alcohol. Made in an area where allergens are present. Unfortunately all products from the Faraway Garden kitchen are not suitable for those with nut allergies due to production methods.
Storage advice: Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place. Christmas Cake freezes well.
Packaging: Bio craft box, compostable. All packaging from Faraway Garden is environmentally friendly and plastic free.

Christmas cake is een fruitcake die traditioneel geserveerd wordt gedurende de hele Kerst periode. Een heel klein plakje bij de thee is al voldoende, de taart is namelijk heel vullend!
Deze traditionele Christmas cake is tenminste 4 weken gerijpt en wekelijks gevoed met Cognac. Het is volledig afgewerkt met marsepein en fondant. 12x7cm mini loaf (+/- 4 porties).
Allergenen: Melk, Noten, Tarwe, Ei, Alcohol. Wordt gemaakt in een omgeving waar allergenen aanwezig zijn. Alle producten van Faraway Garden zijn helaas niet geschikt voor mensen met noten allergenen vanwegen productie methoden.
Bewaar advies: Hoe langer de cake rijpt, hoe rijker van smaak. Bewaar de cake in een luchtdichte trommel en op een koele donkere plaats.
Verpakking: Biologishe afbreekbare eco kraft doos. Alle verpakkingen van Faraway Garden zijn milieu vriendelijk en plastiek vrij.
