Last year I used Robertsons Mincemeat for the mince pies. As you all know I normally only make things from scratch so it seemed fitting not to use canned mincemeat anymore. It is also extremely difficult to get products from England at this difficult time. I have tried and tested a new recipe, which is AMAZING, although this recipe contains NUTS (almond slivers) and ALCOHOL (Brandy). If this is a problem, please contact me as I do have a couple more pots of Robertsons for those who prefer no nuts or alcohol (although please keep in mind they are still not suitable for people with nut allergies due to manufacturing methods). The mince pies are made with vegetable Atora and are suitable for vegetarians.
